Red Engle

Theodore Warchal

Ted’s work in sculpture utilizes many mediums (metal, wood, hydrocal, paper, paint, and found objects). He uses a variety of techniques, both conventional and experimental, in joining and finishing each piece. Ted tries to create objects which have something to say about the world, in an attempt to communicate his experience to others. He believes that one primary reason for creating art is to make contact with the viewer. Another is the desire to express a unique vision.
