About the Event
Have you ever been curious what those wildflowers growing along the edges of the water are? Join us at Newton Lake Park where we will identify the many kinds of blooming native plants as well as the invasives and learn how to grow/remove them.
We will also talk about the importance of riparian buffers, how they work, and what plants make good buffers.
We will meet at the bridge on Cuthbert Road and walk around the lake.
